Nephi Denham

Nephi Denham is based in Tully, Queensland and is a Girramay Traditional Owner of the North Murray Area. Known for his sculptural forms, Nephi's works include Bagu sculptures and paintings, as well as woven mindi baskets. His works are drawn from his rich cultural heritage and reflect his families stories and environments he grew up in.
Nephi has been the recipient of the Cairns Airport Innovation Award (Girringun Aboriginal Art Centre, CIAF 2019) and The Strand of Ephemera (Townsville Artistic Excellence Award). His works are in a number of public and private collections.
