Julie McEnerny trained at Julian Ashton Art School in 1980s. A career in commercial design, illustration and fine art followed with a focus on botanical work beginning in 2009.
“The starting point for my work is typically local flora, often presented in the tradition of botanical drawing to invite curiosity of the plant and its unique characteristics. This work is part of a series of colourful exotic plants and their dependency on tropical rainfall amid times of climatic changes”.
